I had so much fun with Christina and Tony for there engagement session. They are having there reception at a 100 year old cotton mill right outside of Dallas. They love it so much they wanted to have there engagement photos done there. My head was spinning with ideas for photo ops. I have to save something for the wedding. They were so great to work with! Congratulations! Can't wait for your big day!

Scott and Kate's Wedding
Scott and Kate has a storybook wedding in Dallas, Texas. Their wedding was held at Marie Gabrielle's restaurant in downtown. They have a exquisite garden right outside the door. Guests were escorted out to there seats to enjoy the wedding under a canopy of trees. Guests were amazed with the floral design by SK Designs. The bride was announced with a bag pipe as her father took her down the isle. When the vows had been exchanged everyone moved inside for a evening of dinner and dancing. Congratulations Decker's!

July 18, 2009 Charlie and Julie Isaacson were married in the Cooper Chapel in Bella Vista Arkansas. What a beautiful wedding! Here are a few of my favorite images. They are such a footloose and fancy free duo. After there "I Do's" they jumped into a classic convertible to be whisked away to the reception that was held at the Cedar Ridge Event Center in Rogers. It was elegantly decorated by family and friends. They also did all of the food. What a labor of love! ..it was really yummy too... They had a great time dancing the night away. To round out the evening they ran through a tunnel of flaming sparklers. It was a magical evening. Thanks for letting me be a part of it!

KKB Photography was featured in the latest issue of Weddings with Style. They highlighted one of my favorite couples, Spencer and Carrie Compton. They were married November 8, 2008.
"There story began in 1995, when Carrie and Spencer were freshman at the University of Arkansas. As friends, they shared some great times, but eventually went their separate ways. They met again, ten years later, through mutual friends. This time, things clicked immediately and they began dating. It was three years later when Spencer proposed, the the help of Carrie's daughter, who brought Carrie a dozen red roses with the engagement ring in the middle." Congratulations!
KKB Photography was honored to do the photography for Shirley's Flowers and Gifts located in Rogers. They had some of the most beautiful arangments. You can see there talent and attention to detail in each of these bouquets.- 9:42 pm

Life of a mom
Well this story starts several weeks ago. One of the farmers down the road has a small heard of sheep. They share that pasture with a goat and a mini horse as well. They are all have stark white fur with black feet. Then one day the kids and I noticed the ugliest little black animal I have ever seen. On our first sight going 45 MPH we couldn't make out what kind of animal it was. Tiny body, LONG legs, GIANT knees, HUGE feet, LONG neck and giant ears all black. Turns out it was a baby sheep. Now you get where the comment the "Black Sheep" comes from. We have come to love our friend, Little Ugly. He now has just a hint of wool. So now he is light Grey and grown into his legs. He will always be our Little Ugly. We say hello to him every time we pass his pasture.
That brings me to this morning! As we were whizzing by at 45 MPH we couldn't find Little Ugly in the pasture. To our surpise he was IN the road. We just missed him. The kids went on full alarm. MOM, MOM, MOM we have to save him!!!! Not wanting to be late for school I assured them that he would be fine and if he was still out when I came home I would take care of him. Well we all know that didn't work at all. So I turned around and pulled over into the ditch. The kids rolled all the windows down in the car so that they could direct me. When I stepped out of the car I was shocked to see that the goat was out as well! (side note, scared to death of goats... one tried to eat my hair at a petting zoo when I was 6, not good) At that instant the goat and I locked eyes. Then he turned his gaze to Little Ugly in the middle of the road. I felt like a gun slinger in a old western. I gave a studder step towards them. In a flash the both dove head first into the barbwire fence. Little Ugly flew though with little effort and ran right to his mothers side. The goat, however, didn't fare so well. His head made it through fine. It was just the rest of him that doesn't fit so well. He twisted in mid air and did a 360 sideways and landed on his feet. It was amazing!!!!! Fur flying! Kids cheering! Can't wait for our next adventure!
ha ha ha... I have been laughing all morning!!!!! Where do I live!?!

Update of my life...
Here is a quick update on my life. Now you know why there have been no blogs... We have been crazy busy the last few months.
My sister had a baby in December, Ruby! I am finally an aunt! This is almost as much fun as having you own kids. I had no idea how fun it is to just spoil someone. We have already taken like a million photos of her!!!!! Look at how sweet she is! You just want to pinch her bottom
We put a For Sale by Owner sign in our yard on Christmas Day. Our friend owns Showcase for Homes. Check it out! It is just like a Realtor listing http://showcaseforhomes.com/ She offered to let us use her sign over the holiday before we went with a Realtor. We SOLD our house in 11 DAYS! Thank you so much for the sign and service! Oh did I mention we closed on it 10 days after the ice storm. UGGH!
In January we bought a new house! So we scheduled a HUGE moving sale. You guessed it, the weekend of the ice storm. We had it anyway. The house was set up for it and I had to get rid of everything. I was amazed at how many people came. There was nothing eles to do with no eletricity and it was warm inside so why not. We got rid of everything and moved into the new one. Our new house is great! Concrete floors, great colors, more rooms, more bathrooms, huge kitchen, and 8 acres of woods! Which brings me to what is really eating all our time. Eight acres of woods with an ice storm is a huge mess. We had trees hit the house as well. So lots and lots of construtions and clean up. We work a little every day. Everytime it rains we burn a new pile. So we should have it all clear by the time my kids go to college. The good news is we were going to clear some of the trees anyway. God just gave us a head start. We love it out here!- 11:45 am
