Thanksgiving is almost here. The air is crisp the leaves are crunchy and the oven is getting ready to cook up something good. I just wanted to take a moment to be Thankful for all the wonderful gifts in my life. I can't imagine my life to be any more perfect than it is right now. I am deeply in love with my husband of many years. Amazed daily by the blessings of being a mother to my two gifts from God. I try to treasure every moment good or bad...He only gave them to me for a short time. Thanks to my friends who help keep me grounded and moving in the right direction. My extended family who I miss everyday because we are so far away. Thank you to all my clients who trust my talents enough to make special moments that you all display on your walls. God Bless us this Thanksgiving!

I have had several clients wanting a urban look to there images lately. We did these around downtown Springdale. I love the way they turned out!

Well I think I may have found a new favorate spot. (at least for the next few weeks...ha ha ha) I went out to War Eagle Mill to do some Senior pictures. It was beautiful and rustic! There are wonderful structures to work with or just use as a unique backdrop. There is a OLD mercantile, red mill house, water wheel, 100 year old bridge and a water fall all in 50 steps of each other. I am able to create a number of diffrent fellings all in the same place.

So whoever, wants to be next I can't wait to go back!

Drew and Randa were married in May 2008. It was a great morning. They guys started off the day with a round of golf. That is where the good weather ended. A storm rolled in quickly...there was hail while the girls go there hair done. Well they say, it is good luck if it rains on your wedding day. I guess Drew and Randa are set then!

They got married at the United Methodist Church in Springdale. I love photographing weddings there. The images are always so dramatic. Tracy at Northwest Arkansas florist did all the flowers. http://www.nwaflorist.com They helped to set the tone of the whole wedding. The bridesmaids wore bright blue dresses. The bright colors of the flowers just popped against that background.

Drew and Randa's wedding was also a feature in the Democrat Gazette. I think it was a perfect choice for the paper.

Andy and Amanda Miller were married this May. I am working on there wedding album this week. I thought I would show some of my favorate images. They were so much fun to work with. Amanda just let me do my thing and just worry with capturing the moments as they happened. It really helped to caputure the emotion of the day. One of my favorate images is Andy spinning the basket ball on his finger. You know every guy wants to be doing that on there wedding day.

Amanda did such a great job with the details of there wedding. She had Thea Daniels from Rose of Sharon do the flowers. Springdale Country Club was the perfect backdrop for the reception. It was a magical evening.

Gracious Living Interiors is one of the best groups in Northwest Arkansas. They are located in Lowell. They have a wonderful brand new show room packed with treasures that would be perfect in your home. All of the designers there are amazing at what they do. They had me out a few weeks ago to photograph the show room and some of there clients homes. They are working on there website and needed some great samples. This was the most fun maternity shoot ever. Kelly and her husband Brendan are not going to find out if they are having a girl or a boy. So we were trying different things to make a special image to remember they excitement of the big surprise. I love this shot! I fell to the ground laughing after I took it. When I showed it to Kelly she started crying she was laughing so hard. We had way to much fun!
